About the Journal
Aims & Scope
Insights Undergraduate Journal in Political Science (IUJPS) is a peer-reviewed, student-run journal focusing on undergraduate Political Science, International Relations, and Indigenous Studies coursework at the University of Calgary. We encourage submissions that offer creative analysis, innovative ideas, and insightful perspectives that showcase the excellent research abilities within the Department of Political Science.
The journal's five subsections offer students the opportunity to contribute their work across a range of topics and approaches:
- Indigenous Relationality
- International Relations
- Political Thought
- Comparative Politics
- Canadian Politics & Government
Insights is affiliated with the University of Calgary Department of Political Science and the Political Science Association (PSA)

Author Self Archiving Policy:
Under the terms of the Creative Commons license, authors are permitted to post their work online in institutional/disciplinary repositories or on their own websites.
