The Undergraduate History Journal at the University of Calgary is to be used as a tool for students to understand what is expected of them when writing a history paper. These papers are not to be used as a source.

We would also like to acknowledge that the land on which the University of Calgary stands is part of the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 peoples, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (comprised of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations).
